I downloaded mod, started playing creating a map, joined like stormtrooper. Tried to add bots????¿¿¿¿ Failed. Searched online server, ask about. None possibilities. But i could creating NPC buggued. Back to creating a map,i dont know how to add npc???? wtf dead

how i add npc at least

- Open console (Shift + ~)
- /devmap (mapname)
- Example: /devmap mb2_deathstar
- Cheats should now be activated in your own private server
- Open console (Shift + ~)
- NPC spawn (spawn name)
- Example: /npc spawn luke
- FYI: Rebel spawns attack the rebel team and vise versa for imperials

hey man i cant select lightsabers in offline??? also the map dotf doesnt want to load. in offline lightsabers just dont appear in the custom creator class thingy

I don't understand what problems do you have, but try this:
Open Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII\jampconfig.cfg and add:

seta g_gametype "7"
seta g_MinMBPoints "80"
If you use openjk/MBII client, changes need to be made in My Documents\My Games\OpenJK\MBII\openjk.cfg.
If this won't help please describe what exactly issues do you have, as detailed as possible, what steps do you take, what results do get, post screenshots.

Usually maps couldn't get loaded with "This gametype is not supported" message. This message can be ignored, second time maps get loaded successfully. After pasting "seta g_gametype "7"" to a config file maps can be loaded from first try.

Problems with class configuration happen because default number of points is very low. This can be fixed by adding "seta g_MinMBPoints "80"" to config.

You can also set those variables using a console (Shift + ~ aka Shift + `).

hey man i cant select lightsabers in offline??? also the map dotf doesnt want to load. in offline lightsabers just dont appear in the custom creator class thingy

Please provide screenshots of the issue after you attempt what Puppytine provided. The mapname for dotf should be mb2_dotf. You should have all the same options you have in a multiplayer game.

basically Lightsabers just dont appear in offline selection. you know how you choose your class and select skills for your charav=cter and choose yor lightsaber. well on any selection whether its assault or a custom class lightsabers are no selectable and is grayed out. it says NO lightsaber or something like that when offline

Probably because your minmbpoints is at the default of 4. You have to set g_minmbpoints to 80 in your config.

If this is not your case, provide screenshots.
alright it worked! however certain NPCS do nothing if spawned for example cultist_saber. NPCs like luke will all out attack and dont jump properly but at leat they fight even if they dont defend. also playing as sith almost no NPCS will attack you playing as jedi they do though. i wonder if its possible to import EOC4 ai thinking into this...

Just dont play offline :) Bots in MB are only surplus requirements and the coding of mod is different. It is not basic JKA multiplayer. If you want to play solo, just play jedi academy. I like sometimes to play with bots too. For this i'vemodded my JKA with effects of weapons and downloaded some assets of saber and added skins which are used in moviebattles. So do tuning to your JKA MP but dont play solo in MB2 :)

hmm alright how do i do this i want to port the saber effects over to other mods like movie duels 2

You would find all of the saber fx and replace them. Some may require coding.

It's important to keep in mind that the majority of the npcs have not been modified to work correctly in MB2. MB2 is coded differently than the base game. Imperial spawns will attack imperial players and rebel spawns will attack rebel enemies. However, the majority of the vehicles appear to work fine. Hopefully some dev or random person will take this task on and give us some working NPCs.
