Idea log written in the form of a devblog which could actually excite players for once


  • New: Added: Jump4 which removes BP drain from jumping, this would impact dueling significantly, and wouldn't punish players for innovating with their fighting styles
  • New: Added: Dash for Sith/Jedi, maybe more force powers too?
  • New: Added: Block 4 users with block 4 cannot be knocked down sacrificing agility for strength (perhaps with a hp boost)
  • New: Added: Animation options for example: heavy 4 enables dookus animation
  • New: Added: Soldier buffs, considering new players are supposed to use this class it's probably one of the worst classes for noobs. so now soldiers will be buffed with new items in their arsenal being capable of playing as support/melee/vibroblade user or just being a regular trooper (with the ability to even have both a vibroblade and a strong melee build or simply just more lives)
  • New: Added: More buffs for commander class, the pistol for Commanders is very weak even if you put all your points in pistol and dodge with health it's very weak.

soldier is relatively weak right now only because of the prevalence and strength of dodge. commander is just a strictly better soldier in almost every situation. if dodge gets nerfed rally soldier is gonna be the strongest class again

like i said ^, commander is probably the most well rounded class in the game and overall the strongest. some situational picks are better in certain situations but if you want something that's never bad and sometimes the best you go commander

Expect you aren't considering that all these can be included aswell as limited by making the point requirements high, so jedi/sith with for example dash would have to sacrifice all of their force powers and jump just to dash.

The Commander class is powerful but it has nothing else other than a good rifle (and dodge of course) so i'm saying there should be alternate choices to the weaponry/skills since the pistol is next to useless and there's nothing much else to alternate between same with afewclasses at the moment to be fair.

next "criticism" please.

You just want to make jedi/sith ridiculously op. Play some other classes too pls

these options might work if they force a saberist to spec into a specific build type (using class point balance) and have multiple archetpyes that are all better or worse in specific circumstances - i think that force whores as part of the class should have more specfic abilities and avenues of class choice to make them more viable. Any risk/reward class choices would make the game more interesting overall - but I think a few of the ones you mentioned would get a little too op

With them being balanced, simply by just redoing some points so that players can build towards a specific dueling setup (or other setups) being capable of for example dashing mid-duels and being destroyed against gunners or by the force would be fun and certainly balanced. all gunners need is the soldier buff i provided and more specialist items taken from the Legends gamemode.. Easy!

With them being balanced, simply by just redoing some points so that players can build towards a specific dueling setup (or other setups) being capable of for example dashing mid-duels and being destroyed against gunners or by the force would be fun and certainly balanced. all gunners need is the soldier buff i provided and more specialist items taken from the Legends gamemode.. Easy!


I agree with the general point of your post but most of the ideas were either not well thought out or misconceived to begin with

Dash as it currently functions being given to jedi/sith is essentially a tool to get from mid-level IDR to kill, with no class other than Hero having a counter to spacing like this. You could just do dash into push, because anyone would backpedal immediately, so you'd have to have a cooldown point on forcepowers after dashing. On Jedi, this also doesn't serve much purpose (Speed is functionally similar and already has the lunge which is high risk/high reward). On Sith, who already have a real good close range offensive tool, it'd be bonkers.

Block 4 preventing K/D is ludicrous. Sacrificing agility for strength how? Then an HP boost ontop of that? What? Why?

Block 4 would cost a lot, meaning your jump/defense would be low

Or just press the use button while jumping to not drain any bp?
