The movement could use some momentum. It looks stupid due to the fact that it reaches terminal velocity instantly. The velocity should gradually increase. Albeit at a very swift rate.

I haven't really felt any issue with Dash. A graphical indicator of dodges with out restricting movement for Dash 2 could be nice so it's easier to know when you're being dodged. For that I'd have the old dodge animations played, but allow them to be cut short if the player fires. I think it...

In the past attacks could be interrupted with your own attacks. This is not the case these days as both attacks will follow through until the end. The first hit to land used to cancel the other attack. I think it served as a solid mechanic for this.

I'd just like to pitch in and say that the new system does one thing incredibly well, which is increasing the skill differentiation between players. The system takes some time to master and can never be 100% mastered, so the skillcap is hypothetically nearly boundless. My personal worry is that...

Are the menus for model-specific customisations working? That looks like a really nice feature that we're missing from MB2 atm. Would allow us to have all the different skin options for models wrapped under a single icon.
