Each class now has a "default" and "custom" model list. You no longer need to create replacement models for classes and can add it as a custom model under a specific class. Players without that model present will see the default model for that class. *Taken from the Roadmap*

With the next update (1.6 coming next month hype) there should be support for additional skins, not just replacements.

After playing for 20 mins here's what I've got: Turrets on Tatooine are really tanky (take 3 awkward to hit saber attacks (yellow style) to kill) ET's, soldiers, commanders, pretty much any class with less mobility or no sniper (SBD and Wook especially) are very vulnerable to mandos, sniper...

You aren't even any good at the game, your movement, positioning, awareness and decision-making are all poor. Wook is currently one of the weakest classes and is in need of a buff.

The moviebattles 2 community is certainly still active, not so sure about base jk multiplayer. The release of the mandalorian series and the incoming new SW movie are causing the player numbers to start to increase.
