Try disabling dynamic glow, it looks like it's enabled. Some older video cards have problems handling it.

Because there was less importance in swingblocking outside of saber vs. saber combat than there is now. More people swingblock than before, for the advantages that it offers. Are you sure that isn't what's happening?

That and we lowered the vol of the saber reverberating effect because it was ultra obnoxious in mass quantities. It's still there, but it's less noticeable unless your effects volume is high.

I think there's a model limit in open, or it increases load times by too much to be acceptable. That's the reason we continually cycle skins/models out instead of just implementing new ones.
