To be fair you have to play for a while to notice the problems with this patch, I really doubt a new player could see the difference between this and 1.0 for example. The new player experience hasnt changed that much since its so much to learn. Most people just go in and try to have some fun...

isn't it the same with normal pistol charge? You can buffer the release by doing a roll to extend your charge because it blocks the animation.

I am willing to bet a good sum of money that at least half the votes for 1.3 came from shitty Jedi/sith players that started at 1.3 in open when it was so gamebreakingly op that you were basically forced to play it or die.
