Launcher not opening properly

I have played MB2 for a long time, but just recently the launcher started acting wierd. Half the time when i open it, it just opens in Task Manager but the actual launcher dosent open. And no, it is not visible in the icon tray.
I really dont know why this has started happening.

Anyone know why this happens?

It could take a while to appear if it cant communicate with the Patch server. Try a tracert to update.moviebattles.org and see if theres a network problem somewhere.
