Short Version:
I was trying to replace a model with another one and now when i go to select that character in game, the model is black and white and looks like an unfinished model. What caused this and is there a solution?

Long version:
I was following this guide: https://community.moviebattles.org/threads/model-replacement-guide.28/

To try to make this model: https://jkhub.org/files/file/2539-master-luke-skywalker/

Replace the in game model "luke_rotj"

I did my best to follow the guide step by step and completely, and although I thought I did everything accordingly, when i loaded up the game, and tried to use the model, it appeared white, black, and sort of like it was unfinished. The physical model part was there to a degree, but it wasn't colored and appeared to be pretty wholly broken. I'm not sure what caused this and I have no clue how to fix it besides reinstalling Movie Battles 2. But I'd still like to replace that in game model. Any tips information or ideas are much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Update: I went back into the game and kept messing around to see if the console had anything to say about it and I get a message saying "can't find body spec for luke_rotj". No idea what that means though.

It's probably because all of the luke models are .skins for the same model, if you replace luke rotj you will break two more models in duel mode alone.

Replace another character's model or I think you can replace the one of him in camo without any problems because it doesn't use the same model as the 3 others

i would also use this video to learn how to do it, its a lot clearer to follow:
