the line above fixes the snappy leg animation that plays when you hold block with a saber and walk backwards. It's been in MB2 and jka for years.
Well, I posed it like that to fit the walking animations. the animations usually start with the legs parallel to each other, so they would probably snap into the animation if I posed them differently.
It means you need to create the folders you'd see on a pk3 file. You need to create the folders models/player in you base folder. After that, you copy the folder _humanoid from assets1.pk3 to models/player. That folder contains the bone index blender is looking for.

Well, it doesn't help anyone if you don't explain how the old nudge worked. the only information I can extract from what you said is "I think the newer nudge was worse because it didn't work with camera blocking."
